Abstract

Mario Bunge, an enormous scientist and philosopher who, adding one hundred years of life, left this plane of existence on February 24, 2020, affirmed: “It is true that in science there are no real paths; that research finds its way into the jungle of facts, and that outstanding scientists elaborate their own style of investigation. This necessarily creative spirit in the what and how of research is at the foundation of the construction of human reality. We go, with the blow of a machete, opening up ground in the universe. And not only that: humans are fish who have to create the water where we swim; We resolve this paradox day by day by creating a knowledge that is useful and true for the moment in which we live, always waiting for a better version of that knowledge to emerge; a version that adapts to the new present (which is updated every second).
