Abstract

The connection between humankind and environment is an undeniable fact, characterized by existing relations of reciprocity where one benefits or affects the other, depending on the type of interaction that is established. In this way, there is evidence of how natural spaces have contributed to improving the health and well-being of people; However, diseases caused by pollution, deterioration and destruction of the environment, consequences of human action, are also present; that is why man must establish a relationship of respect and care for the environment. In Mexico there are initiatives with government support, from private companies and civil society that have achieved that nowadays vast natural protected áreas are available and that green parks are more common in cities. Respecting and conserving nature are more than an undeniable ethical commitment to the planet we inhabit; They mean an ethical commitment to human transcendence, since it is necessary for humankind to reconnect with nature in order to get a greater healthy status and well-being.
