Abstract

The present manuscript encloses a personal experience in teaching algebra to Undergraduate Bachelor students from Benemérita Escuela Normal  Veracruzana (BENV) during the 2019-2020 course. This experience allowed to make the adjustments to the current format of basic education in Mexico. Herein, it is proposed an integral analysis not just of the mathematical object and the academic papers but also the educational math to design didactical situations which, in turn, can help to the transition from arithmetic to algebra leading to increased comprehension.
